If so, Apex Lifts is looking for a skilled Service & Call Out Engineer to join our team, based at our Bexleyheath Office, covering routes in Camden and the London West End.

🔹 About the Role

As a Service & Call Out Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in servicing and maintaining lifts across your designated route. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety compliance.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

✅ Conduct routine checks and inspections.
✅ Diagnose and resolve faults to meet Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) requirements.
✅ Respond promptly to emergency breakdown callouts.
✅ Refurbish or replace lift interiors, flooring, panel displays, communication systems, buttons, and lighting.
✅ Maintain accurate written and computerised work records.
✅ Ensure all equipment complies with health and safety regulations.
✅ Produce risk assessment reports and prepare legal and insurance documentation.
✅ Manage the upkeep of the allocated company vehicle (e.g., servicing, insurance renewals, and cleanliness).
✅ Carry out additional duties as required by the role.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications Required

🔹 NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (Lift Servicing).
🔹 Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing machinery.
🔹 Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
🔹 Attention to detail with a thorough, methodical approach.
🔹 Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different challenges.
🔹 Strong understanding of public safety and security protocols.
🔹 Confidence in using computers and key software applications
