Apex elevates Steve Thomas to Service Director

Here at Apex, we are delighted to announce that our long-standing employee Steve Thomas has been appointed to the role of Service Director. Promoted from his previous post as Service Contract Manager, Steve will play a vital role in improving the delivery and support of contract management, whilst he supervises our Service Delivery Team.

With an accomplished career in lift maintenance, Steve joined the industry in 1976, when he became a construction apprentice for Porn & Dunwoody Lifts, concluding his training in the maintenance department. Since then, Steve has worked all over the South of England acting as a Principal Lift Engineer and a Lift and Escalator Supervisor. Steve arrived at Apex Lifts in the year 2000 and has never looked back.

“It’s an honour to be promoted to Service Director,” said Steve. “I have witnessed the growth of Apex Lifts during my time here and I look forward to maximizing the great service we already provide. We have a knowledgable team of people who demonstrate an excellent work ethic, which is something you don’t find every day. I’m looking forward to helping cement Apex’s already fantastic reputation in the industry.”
