Apex boosts team with new Service Contract Manager, Paul Jarvis
25 October 2017
Here at Apex Lifts, we are delighted to welcome Paul Jarvis to our growing team as Service Contract Manager. With over 30 years’ experience in the lift industry in both repairs and sales, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to his new role. Paul will be responsible for the smooth delivery of individual service contracts across the company’s portfolio, including larger local authority and housing contracts.
Paul began his lift career as an engineer’s mate and after obtaining his qualifications he worked as a Repair Engineer for a number of years before moving into a supervisory role. His experience also extends to quoting mechanical repairs and roping works for an industrial equipment supplier. Paul’s biggest role soon followed as Repairs Manager for an independent lift company spanning eight years. Before joining the team at Apex, Paul changed hands in the company, moving into the Sales Department and carrying out that role for a further eight years.
At Apex Lifts, Paul now has the opportunity to further his career within the service department. Working in partnership with his clients, Paul’s role includes day-to-day operational running, contract management, monitoring and reporting. On top of this, Paul will be carrying out tailored lift and site surveys as well as regular audits to ensure best practice, quality compliance and customer satisfaction.
“I am really pleased to be part of the Apex team and take my career in a new direction,” said Paul. “I hope to make the contracts run as smoothly as possible and to continue delivering the best service to enhance Apex’s already established successful reputation. They are a great team and have already made me feel very welcome.”
“Paul was an obvious choice for the role of Service Contract Manager,” said Warren Jenchner, Managing Director at Apex Lifts. “His previous experience paired with his enthusiasm and desire for the position was very clear from our first meeting. We look forward to working with him and wish him the best in the company.”
